"It was a party!"
We want to thank everyone who made our 1st Annual Fall Fest a wonderful community experience. As with all successful events, there are many folks to thank!
First of all, the event wouldn’t have been possible without the perfect venue and local promotion. Thanks to the City of Cut Bank for the use of the Downtown Central Park. Kevin Quinlan does a great job keeping it clean and well-maintained. If you want to host an outdoor event, go to the City office and reserve this ready-to-go space. Logan Machtemes with Pioneer Press, your article created an advance "buzz" and KSEN your PSAs brought people in from far and wide!
There can’t be a festival without delicious eats. The Simons family, Anne Severn and friends, and Judd and Linsey Milender with HuckleBeary Creamery were all onsite with wonderful food. The music graciously donated by the band “Little Bit Country” was a perfect listening backdrop.
The Cut Bank High School Art Club was on hand to paint faces for dozens of delighted kids and head up the “Chalk the Walk” event. The art that unfolded on the sidewalk was truly impressive. Creating beautiful local honey is an art in itself, and folks were so appreciative of the opportunity to by quality Chief Mountain Honey from Keith Peltier and Chelsea Moss. Also, thank you Shannon Johnson for showcasing your beading skills, just one of your many artistic talents.
We were also proud to host Chief Mike Schultz, ACO Kenna Jones, and Danika Sammons who brought 3 adorable, adoptable dogs, and well-mannered dogs from the Cut Bank Animal Shelter. Enjoy your new home, Pebbles, and Finn and Clyde, we hope you are on your way to your forever homes soon. Thanks to Cut Bank Trails for rounding out the outdoor offerings and providing guests the opportunity to learn more about our local trail system, the Steptember event, and the exciting new trail coming in 2025.
Thanks to those who set up Fall Fest offerings inside Marketplace on Main. Resident artists Barbara Gerard-Mitchell and Wayne Dusterhoff, II, it was fascinating to watch your work unfold. To Ian Karle with Joy Chocolates, we’re always excited to have you onsite so your customers can restock their favorite bean to bar chocolates. Jacey Hannon and Paige Poulton, we so appreciate the warm and helpful customer service you always provide in The Market.
Finally, to all of you who attended, thank you so much for coming! It wouldn’t have been a party without you. See you next year.
