Lisa and Rod

Rod and Lisa Cline are lifelong Montanans committed to supporting and enlivening the community of Cut Bank. They purchased the Wilkins Building in December, 2022 and have worked diligently to develop a robust "third space" on Cut Bank's Main Street. Rod handles repairs, maintenance, and improvement projects for the Marketplace... and he cringes every time Lisa says, "I have an idea." He is a competitive racquetball player, fisherman, and all-around fabulous problem solver. Lisa handles the behind-the-scenes business operations. She loves to grow things, hang out with their motley crew of dogs, and drive Rod crazy with her "ideas." When they're not working on projects in Cut Bank, they enjoy spending time outdoors at their place in northwestern Glacier County. â€‹

Grace

Marketplace Manager

I love working at the Marketplace because of the incredible people I get to meet every day and the opportunity to see the amazing talent that Montana has to offer. The Marketplace is an integral part of Cut Bank, showcasing local pride, creativity, and identity. I moved to Cut Bank in the summer of 2025, and the Marketplace has introduced me to the community and has helped to get me involved and connected.

I am originally from Beaverton, Oregon, and lived in Dillon, Montana for six years where I earned my degree in Natural Horsemanship with a focus in Business Management. I moved to Cut Bank after my husband accepted a position as a history teacher at Cut Bank High School.

Jocelyn

Sales Associate

I like working at the Marketplace because it's a calm and homey environment, with it being so welcoming I meet and learn about people's lives from all over.

I will be graduating this spring and moving to the Flathead Valley to pursue a degree in small business management. I will get to be with my sister again and her family, making me not feel far from home.

April

Head Barista

I love working at the Marketplace because I get to meet new people in the community and I enjoy making their favorite drinks. This job also  challenges me creatively and has brought out a side of myself I didn't know I had. This is my first time as a barista, but I've been working in the food industry for 20 years.

I grew up here in Cut Bank and graduated from Cut Bank High School in 2006. I went to school in Missoula at University of Montana for a few years before returning home. I have been living home since.

Jade

Weekend Barista

I love being a part of a small business that values community and relationships. One of my favorite things is getting to know the regulars and remembering their orders. I enjoy creating a positive atmosphere where customers feel comfortable and leave smiling.

This is my first year teaching at the colony, and it has been such a rewarding experience. I'm currently finishing my degree and will graduate in May. I love being part of the colony community and getting to work with such wonderful students.
