Where: Marketplace on Main

Lake Missoula Tea Company Tea Tasting: Sample and learn about Lake Missoula's Teas! Enjoy both hot and iced tea, including one black tea, one green tea, and one herbal variety, as well as some of what we already offer in Artique Brew. Jake will provide an overview of tea's color varieties, its origins, health benefits, and plenty of information about where and why they source their tea from smaller, artisan farms.

About Artist Lynn Shield's "True Montana" Collection: True Montana explores the quiet relationships between wildlife, landscape, and time. These paintings place familiar animals of region in moments of pause, often paired with oversized native flowers, birds, or insects - small presences that soften strength and slow motion.
Rather that depicting Montana as rugged or untouchable, this series looks at tenderness within the wild: power that listens, movement holds still, growth happening before it is complete. The animals carry, wear, or share their environment, suggesting a reciprocity between land and life rather than dominance over it.
These works are less about spectacle and more about attention - inviting the viewer to notice the brief, gentle moments that make this place feel lived in, loved, and deeply alive.
About Local Cut Bank Artist Tracy Brissette: Tracy Brissette's interest in art started at a very young age. She comes from generations of artists and poets, and she doesn't remember a time when she wasn't surrounded by beauty and talent.
Tracy's vivid imagination brought her into the world of fantasy fiction, and a game of Dungeons and Dragons with friends led to her publishing her own novel, Rhiannan's Quest, in 2014. From there, she has made forays into poetry, painting, and sculpture. At times, her artwork originates with her poetry, and other times one of her paintings or sculptures will inspire her to write.
Watercolors and acrylics, recyclables and natural materials are the mediums used in her creations. Her paintings range from vaguely realistic to utterly fantastical. Dragons, wizards, unicorns, and castles have found their way into her Fantasies Under Glass Collection, and her miniature cottages are a study in unexpected details.
