The Marketplace on Main is proud to offer several classes and event spaces to the community and its neighboring areas. Anyone is welcome to attend.


Oil Painting with Betty Rudisill

Betty Rudisill is offering beginning oil painting classes for those interested. Classes are through the Adult Ed program, and pre-registration is required. Instruction is free and available the following days and times:

Classes are limited to 4 people per session, and will be held in her studio located in The Gallery (Marketplace on Main, 13 East Main, Cut Bank).

Learn to Crochet with Jennifer Illingsworth

Learn to crochet with Jennifer Illingsworth, owner of Dragonfly By Jen. Jen has plenty of experience to share with anyone willing to take part in this relaxing fiber art.

Classes will be held in her shop, Dragonfly By Jen (Located in the Marketplace on Main, down the hall).

Christmas Lights

Christmas Open House

The Marketplace will be having a Christmas Open House in early December. Anyone is welcome to attend!

We will have live music by Scott Paisley, a Christmas "quick draw" in the Gallery, and a Gingerbread House Contest (details below). We will also be serving cookies and hot beverages.

First Friday Art Classes

Mitten Christmas Decor with Shannon Johnson:

Join Shannon Johnson in creating lovely mitten Christmas decor that will become a family heirloom for year to come. All supplies will be provided to paint or decoupage wooden mitten cutouts. Embellishments will also be provided to create a one-of-a-kind project anyone would be fortunate to have displayed in their home or give as a gift.

Light refreshments will be provided.

$35 per person

Raw Vegetables

Cut Bank Local Fare

The Marketplace will be hosting Cut Bank Local Fare, an event that give small food businesses a way to sell their products to the community on the third Saturday of the month throughout the winter.

Start looking for your favorite vendors for preorder options or come and shop the market to find local food goods.

Saturday, November 18th from 11-1pm

Gingerbread House Contest

4 categories for youth, ages 6-9, 10-12, 13-18 (free entry)

 Adult category 19 and up ($5 entry )

Drop off entries at 13 East Main on 12/1. There will be an award for each category and an overall people's choice award. Size of each entry is limited to 14 inches by 16 inches.
